Buying Dubai Property From Jordan

Jordanian buyers are a long-established part of the Dubai market, many of them already working in the Gulf. The dinar is dollar-pegged, transfers are workable, and the rules are set out here honestly.

We work with Jordan buyers in Arabic and English.

Getting the money there

The Jordanian dinar is pegged to the US dollar, so there is no meaningful currency risk against the dirham. Jordan does not prohibit buying property abroad, and transfers from Jordanian banks are workable with standard source-of-funds documentation, though banks apply their own scrutiny on larger movements, so agree the route before reserving.

In practice a large share of Jordanian buyers fund from Gulf salaries rather than from Jordan itself, which removes the transfer question entirely. Either way, off-plan money sits in DLD-supervised escrow and ready property transfers as registered title in your name.

What Jordan expects from you

  • Jordan primarily taxes Jordan-source income, and the treatment of foreign rental income depends on your residence and circumstances, exactly the question for an ISTD-aware adviser before completion.
  • Keep the paper trail on every transfer, clean source-of-funds evidence serves you with both Jordanian banks and UAE banks.
  • The UAE side stays clean: no annual property tax and no personal income tax on rent.

Pointers, not advice, confirm your position with the ISTD or your own adviser before committing. We'll happily join that call.

Priced against the registry, not the brochure

Buying from Jordan, your biggest risk is information distance. You can't walk the building, so you're relying on whoever is on the ground. Every recommendation we make carries the DLD/ADREC registered numbers behind it: what units in that building actually sold for, what tenants actually pay, never asking prices. That's the whole point of this brokerage.

Questions Jordan buyers ask

Can Jordanians buy property in Dubai?

Yes, outright freehold in the designated zones with title registered at the Dubai Land Department in your name. No local partner and no nationality conditions.

Can I pay from a Jordanian bank account?

Generally yes, with source-of-funds documentation, though banks scrutinise larger transfers, so confirm the route with your bank before reserving. Many Jordanian buyers simply fund from Gulf earnings instead.

Does AED 2M get me the Golden Visa?

Yes, the 10-year renewable visa applies from AED 2M of registered value, off-plan included, spouse and children included. For Gulf-based Jordanians it converts a posting into long-term security.
