Off-plan resale (assignment)

Also searched as: assignment sale

Selling an off-plan unit before handover: the buyer takes over your SPA and paid instalments, usually paying you what you have paid in plus a premium. Requires the developer’s NOC, and most developers only permit resale after 30 to 40% of the price has been paid.

The developer’s consent threshold and admin fee are the gating facts, check them before you plan an exit. Pricing an assignment means knowing what the same layouts are actually achieving, which is registered data, not portal listings.
