DLD (Dubai Land Department)

Also searched as: dubai land department

The Dubai Land Department is the government body that registers every property transaction in Dubai: sales, mortgages, leases and off-plan purchases. It issues title deeds, collects the 4% transfer fee, and publishes the registered transaction data this site’s numbers are built on.

When this site says a price is registered, it means the DLD recorded actual transfer, not an asking price. The DLD’s arms include RERA (regulation), the Rent Dispute Centre (tenancy disputes) and the Dubai REST app (self-service).
