Sharjah’s airport and the base for Air Arabia, the region’s largest low-cost carrier. It serves the northern emirates and is a short drive from Dubai’s northern communities.

What it means for property

Matters most to the northern-emirates rental market and to Dubai communities on that side of the city, where a tenant’s airport is as likely to be Sharjah as DXB. It is a cost argument rather than a prestige one: the low-cost network here is what makes regular travel affordable for a large part of the tenant base.
