Dubai Metro Blue Line

The next line, in build for 2029: 30 kilometres on two routes. The 21 km route runs from Creek at Al Jaddaf through Festival City, Creek Harbour, Ras Al Khor, International City, Silicon Oasis and Academic City; the 9 km route runs from Al Rashidiya (Centrepoint) through Mirdif and Al Warqa. Fourteen stations, a link to the airport in about 20 minutes, and the tallest metro station in the world at Creek Harbour, named Emaar Properties.

What it means for property

This is the buy-ahead line. Every district it touches is priced today as car-only; in 2029 they become metro districts. Creek Harbour, International City and Silicon Oasis carry a dated, funded, under-construction catalyst, which is as good as infrastructure signals get.
