Dubai Metro Gold Line
Approved in April 2026 for 2032: 42 kilometres, fully underground, 18 stations from Al Ghubaiba in old Bur Dubai through Satwa, City Walk, Business Bay and Downtown, then south through District 1, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai Hills, Meydan, Global Village and the Miracle Garden to Jumeirah Village Circle, Production City and Jumeirah Golf Estates. It meets the Green Line at Al Ghubaiba, the Red Line at Business Bay and Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Etihad Rail at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Station locations are read off the RTA map; the RTA has not confirmed every one.
What it means for property
The Gold Line puts metro stations into districts that have never had one: Satwa, City Walk, MBR City, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai Hills, Meydan and Jumeirah Village Circle. The pattern from the Red Line and the 2020 branch is that the price gap between walk-to-station and car-only stock opens before the line does, which makes an announced, funded line an off-plan argument years ahead of opening.
